Role
We are looking for a seasoned Oracle Cloud Finance (ERP) Professional to join us as Practice Head – Oracle Cloud Finance and head the ERP Practice. This is a high-impact role that integrates Solution Architecture and leadership responsibilities.
Roles and Responsibilities – Organizational:
- Senior Leadership: You will be part of the senior leadership team in India, contributing to the development and implementation of the Company’s strategic objectives.
- Practice Leadership: Coach and mentor high performing team members, ensuring the team shape up as well-rounded consultants, develop learning plans and be responsible the overall competency of the practice. You will ensure that the team adhere to best development standards and implementation.
- Product Roadmap, Innovation and Leadership: Drive innovation and shape the vision, roadmap and lead the delivery for de Novo’s products, methodology, solutions and artefacts within Oracle ERP Cloud.
- Pre-Sales Engagement: Play a key role in pre-sales and sales engagements and lead initiatives such as proof of concept development.
- Go-To-Market Strategy: Support de Novo’s go to market propositions and strategies as we expand into wider markets.
Roles and Responsibilities – Client Delivery:
- Programme Leadership:
- Lead customers on Finance transformation / change programmes and play a key role in senior stakeholder engagement.
- Engage and influence customer leadership and senior stakeholders in the adoption of ERP solutions.
- Solution Architecture:
- Exhibit in-depth knowledge across end-to-end Financials processes and various Oracle ERP modules and their interdependencies.
- Develop architectural designs, assessments, roadmaps and strategies for Oracle Financials Transformation programmes.
- Lead multiple workstreams to support the design, build and test of the various solutions developed.
Skills and Experience (Mandatory)
- A minimum of 12+ years of experience in implementing Oracle ERP Financial Solutions.
- At least 4 full end to end implementation experience of Oracle Cloud ERP Financials Modules, working as a solution architect in at least 2 full cycle implementations.
- Must have an in depth understanding and hands on experience in P2P, R2R, O2C Processes in Oracle Cloud ERP.
- Must have working experience of these modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Cash Management, Tax, Fixed Assets, Expenses, Procurement
- Must have a good understanding of inter-dependencies of Financials components with other modules such as finance, procurement, projects or other subledgers and common features (for example Tax or Trading Community Architecture).
- Understanding of PaaS and IaaS Oracle Cloud offerings.
- Exposure to connected Oracle applications such as Digital Assistant, Oracle Guided Learning or similar add-on.
- Strong understanding of Oracle ERP architecture, database concepts, SQL, Integrations, Oracle SOA Suite, RESTful APIs or web services.
- Strong understanding of data migration methods and options.
- Strong understanding of reporting tools and options.
- Must have experience working cross functionally, liaising with key stakeholders in other workstreams.
- Must be able to recommend solutions independently, with a good understanding of the latest product and market trends.
- Excellent Communication skills (written and oral) with good attention to detail
- Strong leadership skills and a dedication to achieving business outcomes and project deadlines.
- Must have the mindset to mentor team members and set the learning paths for the team, to ensure that the practice achieves the collective outcomes.
Skills and Experience (Desirable)
- Leadership role in delivery/practice is preferable but not mandatory.
- Implementation of Enterprise Performance Management applications is desirable (may include Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation and Close, Enterprise Data Management, Narrative Reporting or others).
- Implementation of Oracle ERP Project Portfolio Management is desirable.
Qualification
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology or a related field.
A qualification in Finance or Accounting (CA, ICWA, CFA or other Accounting degrees) is a must.
