Role

We are looking for a Junior ServiceNow Developer with experience in developing business rules, script includes, workflows using flow designer and integrations.

You will be responsible for designing and implementing solutions to meet the client’s business requirements, both for implementation projects as well as our internal ServiceNow solutions.

You will be expected to: 

  • Engage with customers on ServiceNow transformation / change programmes. 
  • Design and develop solution components such as business rules, workflows, integrations and reports.
  • Prepare and deliver technical workshops and engage with business Stakeholders in requirements gathering and business mapping. 
  • Deliver workstream-specific requirements, configurations, setup, support testing and deployment activities. 
  • Create appropriate documentation such as requirements, detailed analysis, technical documentation or user guides. 
  • Work with the sales team during the pre-sales engagement process and provide estimates for a range of technical work. 
  • Participate in the development of proof of concepts for use during sales engagement process. 
  • Adhere to documented development standards and implementation of “best practice” development methods. 
  • Collaborate with ServiceNow Support to provide solutions as functional and technical bugs are encountered. 
  • Support the development of apprentice and graduate intake colleagues. 

Skills and Experience ( Mandatory ) 

  • 2-3 years ServiceNow developer.
  • Mandatory to have achieved a CAD certification.
  • Experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS and XML.
  • Mandatory to be skilled in one of the following ServiceNow Platform tools and processes.
    • Flow Designer
    • Studio / App Engine Studio
    • Script Background
    • Business Rules
    • Client Scripting
    • Service Portal design and Service Portal widgets
    • Employee Centre
  • Excellent Communication skills (written and oral) with good attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership skills and a dedication to achieving business outcomes and project deadlines. 
  • Ability to quickly grasp new concepts, incorporate innovations, and stay up to date with industry and business directions. 
  • Team player with demonstrable ownership of issues and ability to escalate when necessary.
  • Ability to operate successfully in a multi-tasked environment.
  • Flexibility when it comes to supporting innovative technologies.

Skills and Experience (Desirable) 

  • Experience in developing integration with Integration Hub or Web Services.
  • Experience with ServiceNow CSM or FSM.
  • Experience in JIRA, Lucidchart.
  • Familiarity and understanding of rapid deployment methodologies.

Qualification

B.Tech /BE /MCA /MSC in Computer Science or Information Technology or a background in Computer Science / Coding.
