What an unforgettable evening at The British Museum! Last night, de Novo proudly attended The Sunday Times 100 celebration, recognising Britain’s fastest-growing private companies. Representing the de Novo team were our Chairman, Tim Warner, and Chief Executive, Mark Sweeny—celebrating not just a milestone in our growth, but the journey of a vision realised.

Over the past four years, de Novo has grown from a small, ambitious team in South Wales into a multi-award-winning company recognised among Britain’s fastest-growing private businesses. What began as a bold vision—to transform how organisations harness technology to deliver smarter, more efficient digital experiences—has evolved into a track record defined not just by growth, but by the impact we deliver, the innovative solutions we create, and the strong partnerships we have built with our clients.

From Vision to Reality

Founded in 2021 by Mark Sweeny, de Novo set out to be a trusted partner in digital transformation across Finance, Procurement, HR, and Payroll functions. In just a few short years, we’ve grown from a small team in Newport into a multi-award-winning company with offices spanning Newport, Guildford, and Chennai. Our client portfolio now spans a wide range of sectors including local and central government, education, telecommunications, media and entertainment, travel and transportation, and logistics and supply chain.

This recognition from The Sunday Times is about more than growth—it’s a testament to the trust our clients place in us and the exceptional talent within de Novo. From developing proprietary technologies such as our industry cloud solution Odyssea®, to delivering next-generation managed services like Value as a Service™ (VaaS™) and Testing as a Service™ (TaaS™), every success is driven by our relentless focus on creating tangible value for our clients.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do. While growth and accolades are exciting, the true reward lies in the impact we create for our clients and the opportunity to nurture a workplace where innovation thrives.

Looking Ahead

While this recognition is a milestone to celebrate, it also marks a springboard for what’s next. de Novo has ambitious plans for continued growth and innovation. Major transformation programmes are underway with new clients, and we remain committed to delivering exceptional results across a plethora of industry sectors.

We also see this moment as an opportunity to continue investing in our people—providing the training, tools, and opportunities they need to excel. From Newport to Guildford and Chennai, our global team is united by a shared vision: to push the boundaries of what technology can achieve and ensure digital transformation succeeds for every client we work with.

We are extremely grateful to The Sunday Times for highlighting Britain’s entrepreneurial achievements, to our clients for trusting us with their most important transformation initiatives, and above all, to our team—the people who bring our vision to life every day.

Thank You!
