Kent County Council (KCC) has taken a major step forward in its digital transformation journey, successfully going live with Oracle Cloud ERP. The new system modernises the Council’s corporate services, helping to deliver better outcomes for the 1.6 million citizens it serves across Kent.

After more than two decades operating on legacy systems, the move to Oracle Cloud ERP represents a significant milestone. Delivered through a collaborative programme team made up of KCC personnel, de Novo, and Client-Side Advisors, the new solution replaces outdated processes, eliminates duplicate data entry, and streamlines operations. This transformation allows Council teams to dedicate more time and resources to serving local communities with greater efficiency and effectiveness.

The Council’s modernised platform lays the foundation for a new era of public service—one that is agile, productive, and mission-focused. Looking ahead, KCC is preparing for Phase 2 of its transformation, planned for early 2026, which will see the deployment of Oracle HCM & Payroll Cloud, further modernising employee services and payroll operations while continuing the council’s journey toward a fully integrated cloud platform.

de Novo is proud to have played a key role in this strategic transformation programme, helping KCC unlock new levels of productivity and deliver outstanding outcomes for its communities.
