de Novo Solutions’ Founder Mark Sweeny was honoured at this year’s Elite Business Awards, winning the Vistage UK Leadership of the Year category.
It was a double celebration, after the company was also ranked at number three on the EB100, billed as the definitive guide to the best SMEs in the UK. de Novo has had multiple successes over the past few weeks, including winning a St David Award, achieving tenth place on the Tussell Tech200, and being named among the fastest growing companies in Europe with a 33rd place ranking on the FT1000.
Paying tribute to his team, Mark said: “Although this is a leadership award, it is ultimately due to the hard work and expertise of every single one of the 140 people who work for de Novo that we are in the position to be winning awards and appearing in prestigious lists.
“When I launched de Novo five years ago, there was just a few of us and a vision of creating something different – a digital transformation company which provided real value to its clients, and also gave something back through an apprenticeship scheme, and spotlighting Wales as a brilliant place to do business.
“The past few months have evidenced just how well we have been able to achieve these goals, and we are thrilled to have been recognised multiple times for our impressive growth trajectory. However, there is plenty more to come from de Novo – and we are constantly evolving and innovating to lift ourselves to the next level.
“A huge thanks to the Elite Business judges for this recognition. We’ve now been featured on the EB100 for three years running, with this year’s third place being our highest ranking, so we’re incredibly happy to achieved a hat-trick!”
