2025 has been a whirlwind year of recognition for the de Novo team, and it feels important to pause, reflect, and say a genuine thank you before we head into the festive period. None of this has happened because of one person or one moment, but because of a group of people who care deeply about doing great work together.
A year of milestones
This year we were ranked 8th in The Sunday Times 100 Fastest-Growing Companies – the highest ranked Welsh company and the highest ranked technology company on the list, something that still feels a bit surreal for a business that only started a few years ago! We also secured 13th place in the Deloitte Fast 50 Growth Awards, taking home the regional win for the South West and Wales, which is a huge testament to the pace and resilience of the whole team.
On top of this, being named Digital Transformation Experts of the Year at the SME News Welsh Enterprise Awards and Best IT Service Provider at the Information Technology Awards underlines that growth is only meaningful if it is built on quality delivery and client outcomes.
Celebrating our people
Some of the proudest moments this year have been about individuals rather than logos and league tables. At the FinTech Awards Wales, our first apprentice, Brogan Williams, was named Apprentice of the Year, and our Founder and Group CEO, Mark, received Leader of the Year – both brilliant examples of what can happen when talent, opportunity and support come together.
Our leadership has also been recognised more widely, with a Wales Technology Awards win for Best Tech Leader, which really reflects the culture that has been built here: ambitious, supportive and unapologetically Welsh at its core.
Scaling with purpose
Growth brings its own challenges, so being recognised as Most Successful Scale-Up at the Hustle Awards and Wales Established Business of the Year at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards means a lot to us. These awards acknowledge that we are not just growing quickly, but trying to grow in the right way ; investing in people, in apprenticeships and in the communities we’re part of.
Winning across such a broad range of awards – from fintech and technology to entrepreneurship and enterprise – tells a consistent story: a team that shows up, delivers, learns and then goes again.
