- Work continuously to operate in an environmentally responsible way, monitoring our use of energy and water, and making sure our waste-reduction measures remain effective.
- Reduce pollution and emissions wherever possible, and encourage our employees, partners, suppliers, and clients to act with environmental care.
- Source goods and services from organisations that share our commitment to environmental responsibility, helping reduce energy and resource use for both our business and our customers.
Carbon footprint commitment
Net Zero by 2050
Fresh thinking also means thinking long-term. Our commitment to Net Zero reflects our belief that responsible growth and environmental stewardship should go hand in hand.
de Novo is committed to reaching Net Zero emissions by 2050. We recognise that reducing greenhouse gas emissions benefits our business, our customers, our suppliers, and the wider community.
Our Carbon Reduction Plan uses 2023 as its baseline year and sets clear targets for reducing emissions over key timeframes, alongside practical actions to achieve Net Zero by 2050 at the latest.
de Novo will:
- Review travel choices carefully, using public transport and supporting hybrid working where this helps avoid unnecessary journeys.
- Minimise the use of assets that increase carbon emissions, and source from ethical, responsible suppliers where possible.
- Choose managed office partners that provide environmentally responsible workspaces and prioritise hotel partners that demonstrate a clear commitment to reducing their environmental impact.
