Nurturing talent through sport

Champions are not created by talent alone. Whether in sport or business, progress comes from determination, hard work, resilience and the right support around you. It takes teamwork, confidence, problem solving and pride in what you are working towards.

That is why de Novo’s commitment to nurturing talent extends beyond technology careers and into sport, where young people and emerging athletes can develop the skills, mindset and belief to go further.

From grassroots football teams building confidence on the pitch to rising stars pursuing careers in the sports they love, de Novo is proud to support talent with ambition, discipline and potential. Our ‘Nurturing Talent Through Sport’ programme reflects our belief that every champion starts somewhere, and that encouragement at the right moment can make a lasting difference.

Daniella Sutton

Daniella Sutton, the teenage motorsport driver sponsored by de Novo Solutions

de Novo announced its sponsorship of Daniella Sutton, a teenage motorsport talent, in spring 2025. At just 16, Daniella was already building an impressive racing profile, with Formula 1 firmly in her sights. Alongside her achievements on the track, she is raising awareness of Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis and helping to increase visibility for women in a sport where they remain heavily underrepresented.

Lauren Price

Lauren Price is one of Britain’s leading boxers and, like de Novo, has strong roots in Newport. After excelling across multiple sports, Lauren chose boxing and went on to win European, World and Commonwealth Games titles, as well as Olympic gold at the Tokyo 2020 Games. Since turning professional in 2022, she has become the first woman to win the British welterweight title and is now recognised as a leading figure in women’s boxing and a major ambassador for Welsh sport.
