Challenge
GFSL faced a convergence of operational challenges that threatened both current service delivery and future transition planning. When the existing support contract ended, de Novo was selected to offer services to support GFSL’s changing needs in a uniquely uncertain couple of years. This arrangement needed to adapt to these particular circumstances, providing operational stability, delivering extended capabilities, without incurring long-term commitments, and while building their team’s capabilities for the future.
Precis
Following a competitive procurement process, GFSL selected de Novo’s innovative Value-as-a-Service (VaaS™) Pay-As-You-Go model. This partnership approach delivered both sustained operational value while also building the capabilities of GFSL’s own workforce. Project work included optimisation of payroll functionality, the implementation of the innovative Oracle Redwood user experience, transparent service tracking / management and the continued provision of expert services. This was all underpinned by a flexible financial framework that aligned perfectly with GFSL’s business needs and commercial imperatives.
Outcome
The partnership’s flexible approach delivered many benefits including:
- Platform Stabilisation: Optimisation of critical business processes such as payroll enhancements, pension changes, and new multi-statutory absence methodologies
